DETROIT, Mich., March 13, 2026 – In honor of 3-1-3 Day, Detroit’s premiere cars, culture and community event — Cars at The Station — today announced its third annual event will be held Friday and Saturday, September 11-12 across the iconic Michigan Central campus and Roosevelt Park.
Growth and Momentum Cars at The Station builds on significant momentum since its inaugural 2024 debut, growing nearly five times larger in 2025 with more than 18,000 visitors last year. In addition, more than 1,000 registered cars and more than 60 partners added to the energy to lay the foundation for 2026.
With excitement and momentum from the community, our enthusiasts, as well as current and new partners gearing up for this September, are focused on building this free, authentically Detroit community event with even more cars and culture,” said Jiyan Cadiz, founder and head of Cars at The Station.
About the Event The event has become Detroit’s preeminent end-of-summer community gathering that just happens to have cars. It offers an eclectic mix of cars and culture, uniquely infused with the latest mobility innovations and demonstrations from tech startups within Michigan Central and Newlab Detroit — the tech, mobility and cultural hub for the State of Michigan.
This free, family-friendly event brings together Detroit’s most diverse areas, including the Southwest and Corktown neighborhoods. The location serves as a natural gathering spot featuring:
Vehicle Registration Now Open Whether you drive a Ford, Fiat or Ferrari, Cars at The Station welcomes all proud car owners who want to show off their ride and support the community on Friday, Saturday, or both.
- The event website is now taking vehicle applicants on a first-come, first-served basis.
- All submissions must include a photo of your vehicle in addition to full contact info.
- An email confirming applicant attendance for Roosevelt Park will be sent out in the summer.
- Space is limited and will be prioritized to those who register.
- For those who register and are not in the Roosevelt Park display area, Cars at the Station will have additional room around the Michigan Central campus for attendees to drive their special vehicles to the event.
