ABOUT CARS AT THE STATION (AKA “CATS”)
Built in 2024 to be “Detroit’s most inclusive and community-focused event that just happens to have cars” – Cars at The Station welcomes all facets of car-culture across two days at the iconic Michigan Central campus – the mobility, tech and cultural hub for the city and the State of Michigan.
Build on his experience with Ford and Michigan Central, Jiyan Cadiz, Founder of Cars at The Station and Cadiz Group consulting, developed the concept for a free, forward-looking community event during the summer of 2024 in collaboration with Hagerty.
Cars at The Station has become a go-to event, growing from a one-day event with 3,800 people, to more than 18,000 attendees across its now two-day format
Cars at The Station is lead by a talented and passionate leadership team who believe in building a community-first event that brings together cars, culture, innovation and advancement opportunities in the heart of the Motor City.
